Travel Photography

Hello Guys,

I am a guy who loves traveling around and visiting new places. Photographing different locations and emotions, but when you are in an unknown citi and you want to click random people. It will be so difficult as people will always look at your gear with your huge lens or huge camera. Also as you will be carrying a tripod and many more things.

People will either be uncomfortable as you clicking their photos or their action might change, which you dont want. So here are some things you need to take care of before you could go for street photography or some travel shots.

1. Travel Gear:

The most important of all is to carry a lens which will give you a wide angle as well as has sufficient zoom. This will help is to capture long shots as well as some of the closup shot what you wont want to miss.

2. Location:

It is very important to find a location where you wont be in a spotlight. If you are in a restaurent, find a spot where it would be in the corner, and if on street then stand across any wall you would be partially hidden.

3. Outfit:

Do not ware some bright or weird outfit which are not commonly seen within that area, else this will draw the attention and you wont get the appropriate shot. Always remember your moto is to photograph people, not to drive attention towards you.

4. Bags:

Do not carry your huge/special camera bags, travel with small camera bags which do not look weird or different than others & people wont be curious about it. I would recommend buying a National Geographic bag or something similar to it.

I hope this will help in capturing some amazing moments out there in the world.
